Crazy idea: maybe we shouldn’t let millions of homeless illegal immigrants walk across the border? James Madison high school in nyc just forced students into remote learning because they housed thousands of migrants.
I am thankful to live in an area where housing is affordable. My house (safe, quiet, walkable neighborhood) cost me just under $100K when I bought it in 2008. You can still buy a house for under that amount today if you're willing to take something a bit smaller. I can't imagine how people are managing to pay over a grand a month for tiny apartments.
American needs an immediate rent freeze and mandatory rent roll-backs in states and cities that have already gotten out of hand. Greedy landlords need to go to jail! THEN CAPITALISM HAS GOT TO BE ABOLISHED FOR GOOD! It is an evil political system designed for the devil 😈!
A rent freeze would cause massive homelessness since developers would stop building new apartments. Rent increases always lead to less housing availability.
Love the opportunity mapping!
Glad to hear it! We know policymakers find this to be very helpful.

Ah, Russian disinformation and misinformation right here in Substack. Get lost.

The only way to do that is to cut the property taxes by 80%. Greedy landlords are not the problem, greedy government is.
What makes you say 80%?
This is totally wrong.
